I came to York University as an out of province student and had to live in residence. First off, the residence life is horrible. Everyone stays in their rooms and no one talks to each other. People at York are often full of themselves and very rude. If you want an university experience with a fun social life and a strong group of friends, it is a bit hard to do at York. The classes in my program are very interesting and the profs are very competent. For resources, York has basically none. They clearly do not care about their students. Faculty seem to barely do their job. The campus is very big and most buildings (Schulic, Lassonde…) are beautiful.
