Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
The quality of the classes and professors is really varied. Some are great, helpful and put lots of effort into teaching their classes. Others are arrogant, unskilled and couldn't care less. (Prepare for lots of teaching yourself and unstructured classes from lazy professors, especially in upper years.)In the business department if you're not majoring in finance, accounting or in the co-op program… good luck. All of the networking and professional development programs are for these majors and the rest get the shaft. Their career services department has no funding and is now just a web page, so you're on your own. It's a small town so things can get a bit repetitive. Everyone goes to the same 2 bars every weekend and you'll see the same people constantly. Despite this, the social life can be really fun and you can make some great friends. There's not much variation in extracurricular/clubs and most are either sports, stereotypically "nerdy" activities like D&D or student government positions that are more work than fun.The meal hall food is absolutely disgusting. Living in the dorms is fun and all but eventually the gross food will get you to move off campus.
