Major: Social Work (This Major's Salary over time)
I would be weary to apply/attend the DE MSW program at VCU. The school is undergoing a major shift to open up the program for increased attendance (out-of-state enrollment, which is bottom line more money for the program). A lot of decisions are being made very quickly with what appears to be little thought of long term needs for students. A significant lack of communication between the administration and the students which I'm learning has become a red flag. Also, the program is much more expensive than the on campus program and the quality of content is very obviously a concern as stressed by students who have chosen to switch schools or move closer to campus to attend as on campus. I would be cautious to enroll in VCU's DE MSW program.
