Professors don't reply to their emails often. The student body is segregated and divided into ridiculous cliches of people who went to high school together or are in sororities, so making friends is a challenge if you don't join a sorority/club, feels more like high school rather than a mature college environment. Most students have a snobby, entitled, unfriendly attitude. A lot of racism and discrimination that the university is very well aware of, yet chooses to ignore it. The extreme lack of diversity is obvious when you look through their social media sites. A lot of people here are from small towns and are not open-minded at all. The education they provide is not worth the price, some professors really don't care about nothing but their paychecks. The food sucks and the dorms are just horrendous. The financial aid and HR department also don't want to do their jobs, you have to waste your time visiting them everyday to get a small problem fixed. Overall, I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy. There's a good reason Marywood was ranked #2 college with the least happiest students. Can't wait to leave.
