Worst people I've met in my entire life, and I've been to two different high schools. Good way to put it: it's a 13th grade school. Everyone, even on day one, were very cliquish. Everyone is way too dependent on their roommates and on their small groups they make from day one. A lot of people also brought their high school friends and it's just an extension of high school for them. Very difficult to get into any friend group at all. I think of myself as a social, friendly, and outgoing guy, I did sports in high school and all that stuff but the guys here are straight up rude. I tried going up to a bunch of people the first few weeks and I couldn't get over that they either flat out ignored me, or made some comment and walked away. And the RA's are a joke. They don't do shit and everyone here (at least in my entire dorm building) act like it's a Friday every night. A Tuesday night and it sounds like people are smashing bowling balls against the ceiling and walls and people screaming running down the halls, the RA's have no control and don't care. Someone even tried smashing their way through my door at 3 in the morning, good thing it was locked. Besides that, no one does any clubs or anything because they don't need to meet any more or new people, it's a problem. Trashy jersey guys who think they run the place, it's horrible. I have no respect for anyone that goes here or went here at all. It's very draining looking at everyone else have a good time and I'm sick of this. I'm counting down the days until this semester is over and I can transfer out of here because there is no way in hell I'm going to have friends here. Other than all that, the food here really isn't that bad (the snobs will probably eat at the Denny's in the Perkins Center every day), the campus is nice and all my professors have been good and willing to help you if you need it. If your from jersey or Delaware, are on your school's varsity football team, and are going to bring a hundred of your high school buddies, this place is perfect for you. If not, think long and hard before you risk it.
