i wasn't prepared for how "Santa Cruz" the UC was but after a long adjustment period i really love it there. I think however you can assimalte to any place given the chance and i do belive that had I looked longer and harder at colleges i would have probably picked somewhere else. All that said though I am very happy at UCSC and incurage anyone who would think of coming to visit the campus because it is beautiful.
