Major: English (This Major's Salary over time)
Rochester is a great place. Be prepared for snow, however. And be prepared for a certain inferiority complex that is the school's one major fault. Everyone feels compelled to say, "I came for the scholarship." or "I'm here because I couldn't afford Cornell." or "I was weight-listed at Harvard." Once you move on from that (sometime at the end of freshman year) the school is a great place. Humanities majors should consider the poli sci program, which is much stronger than many of the others. I personally wish I had chosen that option.
