I had some great professors while at Monmouth, and I did

not realize HOW great they were until I took coursework through other universities and seminars.
The other outstanding feature that MC's education program had was its requirement that an education major had to be in a classroom(with a certified teacher) for several courses. I admit I resented my friends (w/other majors) who did not have to put in those extra hours—but I am glad I did. The variety of experiences—all ages, plus time spent at Warren Achievement and Head Start—proved invaluable. I do not know if the requirements are still the same, but I hope that they are!
