Despite some negative remarks, I find Penn to be an incredible place. It is large enough that you can avoid people who are assholes and embrace those that you think are good and fun people. There is a thriving social scene (you can go out every night, if you choose). I love West Philly… though it is kind of dangerous… It is REAL, unlike a lot of other campuses (W. Philly is a mecca of diversity, if you walk past 42nd street.) There is no other school in America that I'd prefer to go to (and I've visited/experience a lot of them).
