Only go here if you are a fundamentalist Christian, hate any environment besides the smallest of towns, and love winter weather. Otherwise, you will not enjoy yourself. The academics are pretty good (except in the information systems department) but very old-school with little class participation, and many students find that they cannot handle the very strict (and often paranoid) rules and the lack of recreational opportunities on or off campus and regret their decision to attend. If you must attend, be sure you have a CAR as it will be your only method of reaching civilization (the closest city is Pittsburgh, a very long 1 hour drive away, especially during snowy or rainy conditions, as is often the case…Youngstown, OH is a bit closer, but I do not consider that dump a part of civilization). Also, pack your winter coat because from November until mid-April the weather is FREEZING with snow on the ground nearly every single day.
