I am learning from my father. Your blog is the kind of information I was trying to find. I will visit the blog often if I have questions while learning work. It's the best. TOTOMOSA |
Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time)
1) LeTourneau is notably lacking in prestige outside of the relatively narrow communities of "people who have LeTourneau grads working for them" and "specialized Christian ministries/companies/schools." This makes it very difficult to use LeTU on a resume and have it stand out the same way other schools do.2) Due to a change in vision on the part of the outgoing administration, much of the University's time and money has been dedicated to expanding the more lucrative segments of teacher education and adult business degrees rather than focusing on the school's core competencies. That means, unless you are a business major or an education major, it's hard to get the University's attention money-wise.3) Education seems to be a very secondary concern as far as administrative manpower and dollars are concerned, whereas "Faith-Based Cultural Competency," and "The Center for the Development of Christian Leadership" gain primary attention. Which is all well and good until you realize that none of that crap will help you get a job.
