SUNY New Paltz is truly a great school.People are often doubtful of the academics at New Paltz because SUNYs normally do not have good reputations, and are thought of to be not challenging. This school can be as challenging as you make it to be. Unless you are very high maintenance, there are a variety of activities to do both on and off campus.
