It seems that students are second to research at most large universities. Syracuse is similiar. However, the bottom line is that the school has an outstanding reputation and strong alumni support. Students who are able to tap into the alumni network and work with the career center are going to do very well for their career in the long run. Overall, Syracuse will get you career opportunities, but the school is not very dynamic in location and atmosphere.
