Basically Syracuse University boasts a commendable education, tons of school spirit, and lots of student activities during their tours. Realize this is a lie. A huge population dislikes this school and the only school spirit is for their sports teams. In reality, as a freshman they will do little to none to make you feel included. Any club you want to join will run you a lot of money (that extracurricular fee your parents pay go to stuffing own professors wallets). People wise unless you wear desginer clothes, drive a BMW, and are a complete mannequin then you will not fit in well here. People tend to be very alienating. Wealthy people is expectable at a pricey college but people at other schools are most likely to hold a conversation without talking about how much the spent on their clothes and yapping on their blackberries. School wise there are definitely some very intelligent professors who are willing to help you. However for every great professor there is, an awful teacher or a class that will completly waste your time will cancel it out. The classwork was disappointingly easy.At the end of the day, only come here if your parents don't mind blowing 50 grand a year on an overpriced tuition and will give you unlimited spending money. Otherwise, you will be severely disappointed with college life.
