Major: Computer Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
Lots of rich kids who have clearly never had to work for anything. Drugs are everywhere. In my experience the advising staff is thoroughly apathetic about students. Professors are often the same way. Some won't even respond to emails or talk to students after class. Scheduling classes or selecting housing is a nightmare, especially for underclassmen. I was behind before I even arrived because the university had me as the wrong major and locked me out of classes. The only good thing about Syracuse is the Department of Public Safety. Officers are very friendly and I've never heard of any violent crime on campus. All in all, it's probably a good choice if you're a rich grad student who can blow 60k a year. Otherwise, not so much. Transferring out after this year.
