I don't think this person could have been a part of the class of 2014 since we haven't started yet.. I'm guessing he/she's a first yr? |
Major: Undecided (This Major's Salary over time)
I did not enjoy my time at UofR. Though there certainly are intelligent and good people there, I found the student body in general to be dull, mediocre, and really nerdy. Much of the school's social and party scene revolves around greek life (gag me with a spoon). The weather is really bad (it snowed in april), and all the dorms I have seen in addition to my own are ugly, and somewhat dilapidated. Don't even get me started on the kinds of things I saw in our hall bathroom sunday mornings. For a student who is more aligned with the arts and humanities, U of R is not a good choice at all. I just can't recommend the school to anyone seeking a school with a diverse and interesting student body. Overall, I felt like my time there has been a waste (I am transferring, most likely to nyu), though for what it is worth, my classes and professors were for the most part very nice and well taught.
