Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
The University of Rochester is a great place to develop your academic goals. There is a great emphasis on hard-work and academic success. As you specialize in your major, the professors in the courses become more engaged with students. I have to admit introductory science courses at UR aren't exactly enjoyable. But if you can get past those, you definitely learn a lot while having fun doing it. Socially, you must look for places to get involved. The social side of the unviersity will not come to you. You must take the initiative to get involved. I did that, getting involved in student government and many other things. Overall, I am glad I chose to go to the University of Rochester. I feel that in the end I wil lindeed get a great education as well as meeting some people that will change my life.
