Miami has a very nice campus (except they seem to have problems with mud and water drainage which can make things ugly. The student body is generally very good looking and relatively well educated. But the positive ends there. Miami claims to be a public Ivy. In reality Miami looks and feels like an Ivy league school insofar as the people here are filthy rich, white, and attended private high schools. But people here are generally stuck-up snobs with no intellectual interests. They are only interested in learning what is directly related to making money. They take no interest in the world outside the midwest suburban bubble that they grew up in.If you are looking for a stimulating intellectual environment, or an Ivy League quality education this is NOT the place for you. But if you enjoy being a pretentious, materialistic airhead who likes to flaunt their wealth and want to meet others just like you then Miami is the school for you.
