Wright State, just as all other schools, has some very positive programs that I believe it focuses on. For instance, WSU has a great School of Medicine and they spend a lot of time and money forwarding the causes of that school. Often to the detriment of the other programs. I think a lot of the decisions of the powers that be can be attributed to feelings of inadequacy in comparison to other schools in the state. WSU is always changing its look (from campus spaces to flashy advertisements on television) as if to say Probably the most unhappy thing about the school is student moral. From parking availability to pop quizzes the students complain about virtually everything on campus. Yet the apathetic nature of the students assures that nothing will be done. I wasn't immune, either. Just seemed easier to moan about it amongst friends than try to make a change. The school is mostly commuter students so there is not an abundance of evening and weekend activities. The university does try to engage the commuter students in activities and has a commuter student club but the membership of these is not huge.
