The focus at the UofA was on the less bright students. To get intellectual stimulation required me to seek out professors that were willing and interested in helping undergrads. The Deans, Pacheco and other senior level staff seemed to support graduating in 4 years even if it meant less choices, watered down grading, fewer challenges and an overall worse education.
