Where in Denver are you from? I'm a senior at Arapahoe High School right now and I'm really looking at both ASU and U of A. I'm a big partier and drinker…which school has the best social life? |
Depends on personal preference U of A is more like an SEC school, when it comes to partying, u have to be involved U of A offers a better 4 year college experience then ASU ASU partys harder and is more comparable to UCSB where u can just go out and walk into a random party, and u dont need to be involved to party. If u wanna go greek go to U of A said and done ASU's greek life is a joke |
If you like right-wing idiots, go to ASU. If you want to actually go to school, go to UA.By the way, the bats live under the stadium because it's like a cave in the rafters. They killed a bunch of them one year, and there was a major PR scandal. So, they leave them alone now.I went to high school in the Phoenix area. Anyone who likes that area better than Tucson is not someone I'd want to know. Right-wingers. Mormons. Hate-mongers. |

Last year at this time I was really looking forward to going to school in Tucson at UofA. Being from out of state I had heard good things about the Arizona schools. But the more time I spent here in Arizona, the more I realized I should have picked Arizona State in Tempe. The campus itself here in Tucson is old and quite run down. Not well maintained at all. The biggest thing is there is nothing to do here in Tucson as far as social life goes. It's not really a college town like I expected and it's very boring compared to Denver, where I'm from. I had much more fun going to visit friends in Tempe than I ever did here in Tucson. If I would have chosen Arizona State I'd definitely be coming back to Arizona for school next year. As it is, I'm probably going to be transferring to CU in Boulder. Everything about this school just seems outdated to me. The classroom, the professors, it's like everybody is stuck in a time warp here. Even the football stadium is old and outdated. There are signs outside the stadium warning you to beware of the bats that live there. How crazy is that?So if you're coming from out of state, the wise choice would be ASU especially for the business and engineering majors. All the in state students already seem to know the deal here.
