The U of A is a place where unless you are Greek, there is nothing to do. The food on campus is terrible, there are sandwiches and salads, but don't depepnd on the CATCARD to get you any other type of healthy food. If you are not a big drinker/partier you will often times feel left out or frustrated to the point where you want to leave. The vomit in the dorms and the stabbing next to my dorm were my first signs that coming here was a mistake, but if that was not enough, registration is a nightmare, there is no one to talk to about your schedule that cares enough to look anything up for you. It is just plain frustrating. The first two years are a waste of time and money. I got a 4.6 GPA in high school and coming here was the biggest mistake and disapointment of my life. If you take AP classes don't expect the credits to trasfer unless it is from a language or Calculus. Tucson is a dump of a city if that. The city itself is disgusting, I would not even want to live in an appartment nearby becasue in this zip code alone there are over a hundred and thiry registered sex offenders. Also, if the smell of car or human smoke drives you crazy, then stay away. This place sadly cannot get past being a bad school in my eyes becasue of the location, people, and food.
