At first Bucknell may be impressive, but during your junior and senior years you realize you are meeting the same people, doing the same boring weekend parties/drinking, and the Bucknell Bubble becomes a stereotype that clings to your back and won't leave you alone until you leave. I was impressed with the variety of classes offered but not with the students. Diversity is nonexistent (unless you look at the football or basketball teams, whoop-dee-friggin' doo) and study abroad is probably the best opportunity to get away and really experience life from a global perspective. And not many people outside of PA even know what the hell Bucknell is, so think twice before spending 40k a year.
