Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
The Business and Engineering/Comp Sci schools here are absolutely amazing. Parties are definitely there if you want to go. There's always several parties on fridays/saturdays and even sundays. Besides, if you feel like you HAVE to party on the weekdays then you are better off going to a state university anyways. The nerdy kids here are actually pretty normal and the real nerdy ones usually stay by themselves in their dorms or in the computer clusters. The female/male ratio has been getting better and as long as you're not totally ugly you'll do fine. Also, beware of drama kids as they are even more intense than the losers drama kids in your high school. Their famous motto of "we're the hottest" is only marginally true. They are insane most of the times and the few pretty ones are equally obsessed/psychotic.Other than the crazy/stoner/psychotic drama kids, Carnegie Mellon more than provides whatever it is you are looking for. There are parties, Pittsburgh is a great city with lots to do, and the reputation of the academics is sure to get you a great job and career.
