I would recommend Grove City College, but I am also a white christian male, so I can understand that not everyone is comfortable there. The education is certainly challenging, and you do learn a lot. I am currently taking classes towards my MBA at an AASBCA certified school, and find that these courses are significantly easier than anything I took at Grove City.

As far as the reputation goes, it is very helpful if you are going to stay in Western Pa. I currently live in New England and find that very few people have heard of it. Without a doubt, those that have heard of it are very impressed to hear I am an alumnus.

As far as the social life goes, anyone who went there will tell you that it sucks. The on campus activities encourage you to go back to your room and study. However, just like anywhere, you need to find the right people, and they can make any experience better. There are rules, but anybody I knew that really got into any trouble was out of sheer stupidity on their part. If you are looking to get around the rules, it is not a difficult thing to do, and many individuals took advantage of that. Unlike most places of higher learning in the country, it is easy to be a christian there, but it isn't that hard to not be. You still have to choose whether or not you're going to do the right thing. Also unlike many other places of higher learning, the professors tend to be on the extreme right politically. As a conservative, I appreciated this aspect, but there could have been a better variety of views represented. It would certainly help to learn what else is out there, but i guess they don't call it the bubble for nothing.

The bottom line is that Grove City is a good place, but like anywhere, certainly has its drawbacks. If you're looking for a place where you can get a good education that is slanted towards your conservative world view, then this is a good place for you. Otherwise, you may want to look elsewhere.
