Major: Business - Management and Administration (This Major's Salary over time)
This school prepared me academically as gave me the right moral grounding to face the world of investment banking. There are a lot of gray areas you will find in this business and only a solid ethical base will help you navigate through it.

I have read about people complaining that this school only teaches “Christian” thought and fails to engage in the diversity of beliefs out there. Nothing could be further from the truth. The professors are more than aware of differing opinions and philosophies out there. Such thoughts and ideas are thoroughly presented in class. However, students are encouraged to think about them and critique them logically from a Christian point of view. I see nothing wrong with that … as long as your view conforms to reason and logic and does not coerce people with threats, I see no reason why a school that presents itself from the outset as Christian shouldn't do it. The Socratic method is encouraged… which is to understand the other person's argument and learn to critique it based on reason, accepting the good and rejecting the bad. All of these are taught in the context of honoring God by loving Him with your heart, soul and mind.

Academically, the school is rigorous. The Business school is free market oriented without losing sight of the fact that freedom to do business should not blind you to your moral responsibilities. Many of the classes follow the Harvard case study method. I am currently attending MBA at night (my company pays for it ) and I have to say that a lot of what they teach in my present school ( considered tops in this state ) were simply reviews of what I already learned from Grove.

Would I return to Grove if I had to do it all over again ? YOU BET ! This school is great value for money. If you are the party going type of student, you will absolutely hate this school. If you are a dedicated student who know what you want in life, who wants to strengthen your Christian faith, while receiving invaluable undergraduate education without any of the “fluff” course being taught in other colleges, this school can't be beat.
