In retrospect, a degree from Lehigh University is a mere status symbol. If you do not have connections through your parents or otherwise from whom you could anticipate a job offer upon graduation, do not attend Lehigh. This school is full of stuck-up, upper middle class white kids with little sophistication or consideration for people outside their inner social circle. Not only that, but if you do not major in business or engineering, you will get little to no mentoring from professors about the working world, which is a far cry from the cozy, brainwashing Lehigh experience. After blowing hundreds of thousands of my parents' money, I have nothing to show for the four years I suffered through Lehigh. In other words, I can't get a job! Save yourself and get a nursing or engineering degree elsewhere, preferably a state school that does not pander to the condescending young adults that hail from the privileged parts of the east coast.

responseSounds a bit hypocritical to me. You talk about "privileged" "upper middle class" kids in a condescending way at the same time talking about how you blew through hundreds of thousands of dollars of your parent's money. Sounds like you're precisely one of those spoiled, rich, condescending kids you loath. I paid my own way (not a single cent from my parents) and loved it.
commentI loved it because it ranks in the top 30 in U.S. News and World Reports. If you think you're not marketable now, try finding a job with a degree from a school that's not even in the top 50.
