How do you KNOW classes are made to be harder than they have to be? On what are you basing this? And, gasp, you took Economics in HS. So what? Now, if you had come here and said that you took AP courses in Physics, Calculus, Chemistry, Biology, and the like, then your opinion that things are harder at the college level would carry more weight. |
I agree to the above response. I'm looking into this college, and honestly, only taking AP Economics in high school isn't that much… I'm taking it right now and it's an easy class. I've taking AP Calculus, AP Psychology, AND AP Economics, and I would really like to know how I would do in a school like this. Comparing your experience to an economics class does nothing for most people. |
I think that the OP was very informative in their post. They obviously took the time to post because they felt strongly about their experience at PSU. I find it interesting that this board has so many "students" trolling the board, and "harassing" anyone that has something negative to say. Also, I have to admit the posts do sound somewhat contrived, and the praise seems a little too forced. I think based on what I've read here, and other boards, I will take my money elsewhere. I'm not into booze, and partying. It seems this is this school's biggest sell. Frankly I am seeking a serious, and intellectual atmosphere. Thanks OP for the very informative post! It certainly helped me. |
Honestly, I think I can make a decision on the basis of the reviews that I saw here. But ima still confused to make a strong decision. because I saw some very negative reviews here and I am not attorney for Postmates accident brentwood sure whether it is true or not. |

I see a lot of good things about Penn State posted on the internet. Had I read them better I would not feel as I do now, that these were posted by teachers themselves! I KNOW I am sharper tool in the shed. The classes are crap, especially Stat 200 with Wrobel or Hayford. Wrobel didn't want to help at all, and I had to report Hayford before he would assist. The fact I had to take a math test twice says it all. This from a person who passed Economics in high school. The classes are MADE to be harder than they have to be. All you end up with is confusion, and a crappy GPA. If I can find a school that will take me at this point I'm gone.
