Saint Joe's was my top choice school after I visited. I loved the campus, the location, and the program they offered. The business school is very well respected. Honestly, don't waste your time and money coming here if you're not a business student. I just finished my first year year and overall I was very disappointed. While I still like my program, the school, and the staff, after a year of living on campus I have come to loath the student body here. I was miserable living on campus with these worthless people. They are incredibly rude, snobby, self-centered, and nauseating. I took everyone's god damn advice and joined numerous clubs, inter mural sports teams, and I even tried the greek life. I even tried the office of student success which tried to help me, but had little to offer since I tried so many different things. I will say that the office of student success is a great place with really nice people, and if you experience any problems whatsoever early at saint joe's then definitely get in contact with them asap. I had three different roommates all if whom were horrible. Dorm life is very overrated. And for the price of room and board this place charges is absurd. There us only one nice freshman dorm…mcshain. So after a horrible year socially at saint joe's(I had a great year academically)I have decided to live at home and commute. I love the school, the program, and the staff, but the student body makes me want to smash my head through the wall. I'd rather save $11,000 and have better living conditions, a real social life with people who don't suck, and an overall happier life. I know what you may be thinking, why not just transfer some place else? I don't want to leave saint joe's, I just want to leave the students. So to anyone who reads this I say…good luck on our decision, hope my experience will be helpful to you, and I hope college is the happiest 4 years of YOUR life because it hasn't been that way so far for me.

responseThat is so true. I just finished my freshman year, but I decided to give SJU one more chance because everyone is saying how sophomore year is soooo much better. Most of my really close friends transfered so I have a strong feeling I'm going to regret it. I'm getting out the next chance I have!
