The student body is the worst aspect of Saint Joes. Students are very snobby, conservative, and close minded. Many came from catholic high schools and are very similar. Students dress and act the same. There is hardly any diversity on this campus- it's sad.

Philadelphia is a great city, but the school is hardly in it. The students here think this is Philly, when they are too scared to go into Center City. I have heard students make comments about "black people" and how the surrounding area is "scary" when it's actually really safe.

Public safety is terrible. They do nothing, and when they do give you rides they have a terrible attitude.

I feel like this school only cares about you because of the amount of money you bring to them. The academics are okay and the business school is very overrated even though it is ranked. The social scene is terrible, the parties are for kids that did not go drink in high school. And you have to know someone just to get it, just an example of how this school cares about status. The food sucks, breakfast and dinner are okay if you get lucky. The dorms are likable when everything in the room is working - wifi, lights, or air conditioning.

responseI could not agree more with whoever wrote this review! I just finished up my freshman year at this institution and was blown away by the lack of diversity in the student body. And when I say lack of diversity I mean ever single person is exactly the same, wears the same clothes, and thinks the house parties they go to are some elite club because all they had to drink in high school was a wine cooler during senior week. I am so relieved to know someone else feels this way
commentGreat, 'cause I completely disagree with it. #!, you are on Kelly Drive or the Main LIne, how much about " public safety?" #@, I had a great experience there, largely not depending that I needed a campus and study to be the YMCA or 4h camp. Because your classmates are your age and have the same activities doesn't mean you will be pen pals for life.
responseThe Campus and Saint Joseph's University was different then your sharing. Many black students want and stress eeuality to be taught, then Rio the professor for doing so and become totally undine when they find out their relatives were criminals and far from shared employers. For years Saint Joseph's invested a lot of time in money in school development and student recruiting. Yeah the school costs money and look at the trade-off. Eight percent acceptance percentage in Medical and Law school. One most Catholic students would never criticize co workers and fellow students on a web site.
commentSaint Joseph's University is a great place to go if you want to get an education. The professors are very knowledgeable and they care about the students. The classes are small so you get personal attention from your professors. Try this turf suppliers for best suppliers. The campus is beautiful and it has a lot of green space for students to relax and play on. I love how close it is to downtown Philadelphia, so I can easily get around without having to worry about traffic.
