Major: Engineering Department (This Major's Salary over time)
I think a lot of people come to Penn thinking that high school was easy enough and that college will be just another step up. This isn't really the case. In my experience, especially in the engineering department, classes are VERY tough, everyone is just as smart and/or smarter than you, competition is pretty fierce (yes, "every point counts"), and of course, being the "social Ivy" doesn't really help matters. It's a lot of fun, but also very very challenging academically.
