Pitt is a great college to attend and I definitely recommend it. Before I came here I had heard stories about it being dangerous and scary and too urban…Well it's not. The campus is very safe and there are ALWAYS people around everywhere. The architecture is magnificent and remember…we're based in oakland, not downtown. It's not like as soon as you step off campus you're in a city. It's like…oakland is the WHOLE university. Anyone you see walking down the street is a fellow student. It's just a big college neighborhood and everyone is so nice. I definitely recommend it!
