I know that we are not supposed to comment on other reviews but I am totally convinced that some of the these reviews about Pitt have been written by students who never have attended Pitt. A former football rival comes to mind. These people are trying to sabatoge a great institution. The University of Pittsburgh provides the atmosphere of an NYU or Boston University but it also has big time athletics. Those people who say that they had a miserable time at Pitt also did not enjoy Disney World as a child. The opportunities for enrichment intellectually, culturally, and socially are endless. Hail to Pitt!
