I would first like to correct the comment left on May 7, 2004. This "quite bright" student described the students at Nova as "rich WASPs" and then went on to say that we are mainly Catholics. Now, correct me if I'm wrong but WASPs, standing for white anglo-saxon protestants, are definately NOT catholics. Far from Catholics actually, come to think of it Protestants are PROTESTING the Catholic church. Now, maybe I only know this because I have already taken my Theology class and this young man, being a first year student has not, but one would think that a person who claims to be "quite bright" would know the difference. On a better note… Villanova is a great school, yes it is lacking in the diversity department but go to any private Catholic university and that is what you will find, wealthy white kids. You know that going in though so there really is no need to complain about it. As for the social scene, there is definately plenty to do, but you have to go out and find it, its not just going to be going on right outside your door. Get involved on campus and you will always be having places to go and people to see. Nova is a great school and the students are super outgoing and you are sure to have a good time!!
