WCU is a great school. Are there better colleges out there? Yes. However, you get a quality education at West Chester without paying a huge amount. The campus is beautiful and the surrounding town is great. The residence halls are average, but I hear the new ones that are opening soon are really great. Most professors are willing to get to know their students and all are knowledgeable. The math department leaves a little to be desired. It seems that many of the math professors are experts in their areas of study, but are lacking in a good background of teaching (as an education major, this was particularly disappointing to me). There are many, many fabulous resources from the Career Development Center to the folks in Student Affairs (I may be a bit biased because I worked in both of those offices during my time there as an undergrad and in my masters program).
