Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I loved Brown, but if given the opportunity to go back, I would not major in political science. The department was losing its best and brightest members and the majority of the classes I took were not worth my while. The people and activities at Brown make it worthwhile, and I do love Providence.Unfortunately, the extreme liberal leaning of the most vocal members of the student body is catered to by University officials. There is too much emphasis on diversity and race relations and the school's TWTP program fosters a separatist attitude from the very beginning. To neglect other student life concerns (student center, concert hall, athletic facilities, dorm space) in favor of these concerns will be to the detriment of Brown's endowment.
