Brown reminds us why we love to learn. The academics are outstanding, the students are incredibly intelligent and hip (without being pretentious), and the culture is so incredibly friendly. Students are not immature, hypercompetitive, or socially incompetent (as they are at harvard), but energized, focused, intellectual, and real. Plus, grad schools and firms love brown students. We manage to land killer jobs in competitive industries (second highest # of goldman recruits after wharton, and lots of hires in consulting, fashion, what-have-you). It is unquestionably one of the best undergrad institutions in the world. I cannot believe I only have four years here.
