I was accepted to several top-level universities and was unsure of which to attend until the very last minute.  However, I am grateful to have chosen Brown literally every day that I am here.

Students here are not only brilliant but also warm, open, friendly.

DIversity encompasses diversity not only of race but also of background, interests, and beliefs.

Brown is the university in which students have the most conrol over their studies- apart from concentration requirements, the only courses you take here are the ones that you want to.  And you can shop them.  I have loved and enjoyed going to my classes at Brown; though they are challenging, students are so engaged with the material that, for the most part, the work load is not a burden.

Students are happy; faculty are more than accessible; deans are your friends and mentors; heirarchy is minimal; research opportunities are available from week 1 if you're proactive.
