What you need to know at Johnson & Wales is that you must be motivated in order to get much out of your experience here. If you are driven and pursue all the opportunities that the Univeristy provides you will be quite happy with your experience. If you need a school that will help you along and baby you this is not the place for you. Most of the faculty are either in industry or have been in the past for years and still have connections. If you work hard for them they are usually willing to help you find a good job when you graduate.
