Salve is a great looking school.  With a horrendous retention rate

heres why, all the professors here are very condescending to their students, not very open to new ideas and they stick to their guns when it comes to certain topics.  I felt uncomfortable in the classrooms to voice my opinion.  Students here are all from MA and CT all coming from a private school.  I must have seen like 3 black kids when i came here and thats no joke.  If you are willing to play a D3 sport then great this is the school for you, the social life here at salve is dependent on whether or not you play one of the mediocre sports at salve.  Literally all of their teams suck, there is absolutely no school spirit.  not many “fans” show up for the big game night.  The visiting teams usually have more fans than we do.  The resident halls arent bad though, hunt/reefe & New res are the best dorms for freshmen.  The honors program dorm kids are excluded from the campus making social life for them non existant.  Newport is dead at 9pm and is only fun if your 21.  newport cops are alwasy looking for a party to bust and to get kids in trouble, some of the RA's are cool and will party with you which is good.  providence is fun if you are willing to wait for the trolly and the bus ride along with the dipsh*ts from roger williams.  All of my friends here are transfering to a different school and many kids in my grade are leaving.  Overall this school is a clown school with easy academics so if you're a C- student this is your school.  Food is teriible with miley being the only option for freshmen.  you'll be sick of it soon enough, good thing theres alot of options.  If you are planning on going to salve for next fall good luck.
