My experience at URI was wonderful. I have to admit that I would like to say I am going back in the fall, though sadly I graduated. I will admit that URI is in a rural setting, though, so are many schools. You could be in the middle of the city, but that only means the city has much to do. URI is similar to most universities, where you need to get out, meet people and be active. Nothing is going to just appear at you dorm door and suddenly you will be involved. You must get out there. There are three brand new dorms, and 10 that have been completely gutted and renovated in the past 4 years. I have to disagree with most of the posts on this site. I could not give URI better marks.
