Bobd Jones does not tell the truth to students about the rules. It looks like a nice school.. good buildings.. but it had some rules you would NOT believe. If you are not the most conservative… I mean super close minded christian (if you still can call yourself a christian after being that) then go to some other christian school. You are not allowed to go certain places, they place restrictions on dating life (not common sense rules.. insane rules) and they preach exactly their own theology and leave no room for debate. i hated this school and am attending Liberty University where I feel they have the heard screwed on much straighter

Oh, I do believe. I can believe. Because (1) I dealt with a BJU grad for nearly a year, and (2) I have read the 2015-2016 BJU student handbook and (3) I have reviewed the 2016 BJU website. Truly, you cannot make this stuff up.

Considering the only BJU grad I ever met was a super close-minded Christian who lied, cheated, and generally behaved as if he could do no wrong and hated anyone who went against him on anything,I can testify that's who BJU is meant for and means to produce. Their website and student handbook are appalling, pretty clearly saying at times that they want their people to isolate themselves from the rest of the world and live only by what is taught to them at BJU.

The rules and regulations on dating are ghastly all by themselves. This was a place that banned interracial dating post-2000, though they finally gave that up a number of years later from what I heard. I simply cannot comprehend the nerve of any institution getting into people's private lives like BJU does. Not even military colleges run your life like they do.

You are right again. In my experience reviewing their website extensively, reading reviews, reading the handbook and dealing with a graduate I can say that was my impression. The BJU theology is holy and righteous, and no debate is possible because, to them, BJU has already won. It is infallible. I know of Liberty and while it is still stricter and more conservative than most colleges or universities, I doubt it will be like BJU was. Very few institutions of higher learning on this planet are like BJU. I think we should all be thankful for that.
