Major: Music - Performance (This Major's Salary over time)
I loved my three years at BJU. I only attended for graduate school. School seemed a little bit too easy though. I found it frustrating that my fellow students complained when we were given a writing assignment that exceeded three pages, but the overall experience was fantastic. I think that it is funny that BJU tends to market the school in a way that manipulates the truth about it. I remember hearing that the school had a family atmosphere and that the professors were available for help. I missed the family atmosphere when I was there. In fact, my wife got pregnant while she was in school and the school seemed frustrated at us (married) for thinking we could attempt to finish our degrees. I had professors tell me to email them, but I perceived that they did not want to schedule an extra meeting with me. I think that the marketing department needs to sit down with the entire student body before publishing good marketing slogans. Please don't misunderstand. I LOVE BJU. I would encourage anyone that is a born-again, Spirit-filled, committed Christian to pursue a graduate degree there. If you are going into a ministry field though, consider going to a denominational school for your undergraduate work. Academic inbreeding seems to happen too much at BJU.
