There are too many people in this area that have to be expained to that the Civil War is over. Clemson is a little town that offers life's necessities, but usually at 15 minute drive to the nearest "town." Having grown up in the southern area, I can say that the area can be espically red in the neck, but that usually depends on your major. Overall, the campus at Clemson is very nice, and offers some recreation with bike trails and lakes. However, for a night life, Clemson can be exceptionally dull, espically when compared to other schools. If you do not know of or have any of the "southern pride" I would not suggest going to Clemson, because some of the students here even kinda scare me.
