My experience at Furman has been mostly interactions with rich snooty white kids who think they're better than everybody else because their daddy is a lawyer and everything they own is designer. Tuition is overly expensive and a degree from Furman is definitely overrated. The facilities and faculty are mostly wonderful, but there is absolutely no diversity and there is more gossip here than there was at my high school. Also, Greek life is a huge deal at Furman, but no tour guide will ever honestly tell you that. Overall, it's an okay school, but the social life is just awful.
