I graduated CPP with a degree in CIS way back in 2002. If you are thinking about getting a CIS degree, go to Cal State Long Beach.The CIS faculty here isn't that great. They are not that technical and most of them have never been heavy hitters in the IT industry. There are a handful of great professors, but a couple that shouldn't be teaching.A lot of professors here have a Ph.D from the Claremont Colleges. Sorry, this degree doesn't mean you are good in IT.Not sure if these professors are still around…GOOD: Bell, Gallegos, CurlNOT GOOD: Freibott, Guthrie (both of them)
