| As
the comment said a few comments below mine, everybody's experience
at Lipscomb is different. However, the comment below mine should
be disregarded based on its slanderous and wrong accusations based
upon underground gossip. Yes, there was a big drug bust,
but those people are dealt with and usually expelled. There
were two drug busts my freshmen year, and both of
them were expelled. Concerning the completly untrue statement about the
DUI accident. I knew the kid who hit and killed
that women. Yes, the event happened, but no there was
no DUI issued. The student had one beer(and was below
the .08 level), and the lady who was killed was
at fault because she ran the stop light which is
how the accident had happened. There will always be a
handful of students who do not exemplify Christian ethics. However,
its your choice if you choose to be around those
people or spend time with those who trully exemplify Christian
ethics. I was not in a social club, but was
involved in extracurricular activities and a social club. My experience
was wonderful because I surrounded myself with the plethra of
good people there. Yes, there are people there who may
discourage you because of their attitude, but if you can
get past that then you'll enjoy your experience. The small
size of the school makes it easy to make friends,
and it gives it a kind of homely feel. Also,
the campus does a good job at trying to keep
the campus lively with things to do. Also, the education
is pretty good. I go to Vanderbilt, and I do
not feel like going to Lipscomb has put me in
any sort of educational disadvantage.
