Although MTSU has the best recording industry program probably in the world, the place is dull. It seems like the people at this university have been sheltered their whole lives. Over 70% of the students go home to mommy on the weekends. If you are looking for a classic university setting, this is not the place. I have had good luck with teachers, which is what really matters, I assume. The social factors just kill all the good. Go to great schools like James Madison, UVA, UM, Duke…Schools with Amazing academics and the students have pride and know what fun is.
