Major: Physics (This Major's Salary over time)
I have attended UT, UH, and 2 junior colleges. And left them with good standing. I don't think the teachers are too easy. The professors here come from everywhere. At least, two of our physics profs graduated from possibly the #1 physics university Berkley. I don't know where the others are from. But, I have found that sometimes math and science is easier at UT just because the teachers are so brilliant. The campus is clean, feels new, maintained and I don't feel like I am pushing through a 22,000 student school. The parking as far as I can tell is better than UH and probably UT. I lived really close so I can't be for sure. They seem to try to make life easier for the students. There is kind of a high school mentality here. In junior college, people work and goto school. There, people don't expect you to party or night club not to be a loser. Yet, the social life is much better than UH. Many students here are supposedly educational or teaching majors. Yet, whenever I have talked to someone about teaching, they think I am a liar or fake. I recieved an email asking science and math majors to fill vacant positions for tutoring which I never got a reply. I have never been to a school with a shortage of tutors before. They wanted energetic and outgoing students. When I was the head physics tutor in junior college, I valued knowledge, patience and communication skills. Is being a nerd or introvert unacceptable. I never tried to be a high school mentor, but I substituted teached and tutored privately on request. I am guesing that players who pretend to be educational majors to hook up with girls have tainted the camraderie. Lastly, the study abroad programs sponsored by Texas State are awesome. I like it here. I am practically next to the hill country. I see deers.

I was born in the USA. I guess that says something about the education here.
