Tarleton State University is a great school, everyone should atleast give it a chance. So many people say "this isn't for me," that just means that they never got involved and never got out of their dorm room. I know so many people who are "city people" and love it there, I was one of them. No there's not a mall but you can always find something to do and always remember to RUSH! That doesn't mean you have to join a fraternity/sorority but it doesn't hurt to take 3 hours a night for 3 days to get out there and meet your incoming students.

The only bad things I will say about Tarleton is that the English Department for freshman english is horrible IF you have a graduate student. Try and avoid them. Also, there is a "secret organization" at Tarleton called the Purple Poo that everyone seems to want to be. Though I like the people in it, do not get yourself so sucked up into what they do because if they find out you're following them or talking about them they do what they can to make you feel like shit. Don't trust them and don't look at them because a handful of them are horrible people who do not represent what Tarleton State University is about; family and tradition hmmmmmmm KIM YAEGER!
